At Gioseppo, we are leading the way with a range of circularity projects while following optimisation processes to reduce our environmental impact.

A second life for shoes

We support the INESCOP Institute and its range of initiatives to improve footwear recycling processes.

Gioseppo stores feature containers to collect used footwear, which are run by Texlimca, a company that works with the Valencian Social Action Institute (Institut Valencià d’Acció Social – IVASS) and the United Nations Global Compact. Pairs of shoes in good condition are sent to developing countries, while the rest are carefully taken apart so some of their components can be reused.

A second life for materials

We are working on a limited edition collection of sneakers made from recycled materials, left over from other processes. This allows us to find a second use for as many materials as possible, extending their useful life and reducing waste.

A second life for shoeboxes

All our shoeboxes are made from recyclable Kraft cardboard and are fastened with an ecological paper seal that uses glue containing fewer pollutants.
