This information is provided so that USERS may freely and voluntarily decide whether they wish to provide GIOSEPPO, as the controller of this website, with the personal data that may be requested from them or that may be obtained from USERS as a result of using the services offered herein.
2. Use of Personal Information
The personal data collected will be automatically processed and incorporated into the corresponding automated files managed by GIOSEPPO (hereinafter, the “Files”).
GIOSEPPO provides USERS with the appropriate technical resources so that, prior to giving their consent, they can access this notice about its Personal Data Privacy Policy or any other relevant information and can provide their consent for GIOSEPPO to proceed with the automated processing of their personal data.
Unless otherwise indicated, answers to questions about personal data are mandatory, as failure to respond will result in a reduction in the quality or quantity of the corresponding service, unless otherwise specified. If the USER decides not to provide their personal data to GIOSEPPO, the company will not be able to offer any of its services.
The USER guarantees that the personal data provided to GIOSEPPO are truthful and is responsible for communicating any changes to them.
The collection and automated processing of personal data are intended to maintain the contractual relationship established, if any, with GIOSEPPO; to manage, administer, provide, expand, and improve the services to which the USER decides to subscribe, register, or use; to adapt such services to the preferences and tastes of USERS; to study the use of the services by USERS; to design new services related to such services; to send service updates; and to send, by traditional and electronic means, technical, operational, and commercial information about products and services offered by GIOSEPPO and/or third parties, both currently and in the future.
The purpose of collecting and processing personal data also includes sending survey forms, which the USER is not obliged to complete.
The type of information we collect may include, among others, personal details such as name, address, date of birth, gender, email address, etc. We collect this information when you send it to us through the newsletter, contact forms, and similar means.
Likewise, when you visit our website, we collect browsing data using typical statistical collection tools — site visits, most viewed pages, USERS, countries, etc.
This data may be used for event organization, statistics generation, or other website functions, as well as to provide you with the services offered through it.
We may also use it to send you information and materials via email about products, offers, and news that we consider may be of interest to you, both in relation to our products and company, as well as those of our business partners. You will only receive such information if you have authorized us to do so.
We may analyze visits to the website and understand the interests of our visitors both globally and individually, which will provide us with insights to help improve our products, services, features, and/or promotions that may be of greater interest to you.
Our website and the collected information are managed and controlled by GIOSEPPO. Personal information will be managed in accordance with current data protection legislation and this privacy policy.
To keep your information secure, we have implemented various security measures. Your personal data are stored within secure networks and are accessible only to a limited number of people with special access rights, who are required to maintain the confidentiality of such information.
Nevertheless, whenever you provide personal information online, there is a risk that third parties, beyond our control, may intercept and use that information. Although GIOSEPPO strives to protect personal data and your privacy, we cannot guarantee the security of the information you disclose online, and it is therefore provided at your own risk.
3. Security of Personal Information
GIOSEPPO has adopted the legally required levels of security for the protection of personal data and will seek to install any additional technical means and measures within its reach to prevent the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorized access, or theft of the personal data provided to GIOSEPPO, both in physical establishments and through the website. However, the USER must be aware that Internet security measures are not infallible.
4. Use of Cookies
GIOSEPPO uses cookies, which are automatically installed on the USER’s computer, to improve the service provided to its USERS. A cookie is simply a text file placed by a web server on the computer’s hard drive. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or transmit viruses to the USER’s computer and do not contain any kind of information about USERS; they contain only technical information that allows proper communication with GIOSEPPO.
However, the USER may, at any time, accept or reject cookies. Although most browsers automatically accept cookies, the USER can configure their browser to prevent the creation of cookies, although the USER should be aware that disabling this function may sometimes hinder the proper operation of the services provided by GIOSEPPO.
The cookies used on this website are, in any case, temporary and have the sole purpose of making subsequent transmission more efficient. Under no circumstances will cookies be used to collect personal information.
5. IP Addresses
The website’s servers may automatically detect the IP address and domain name used by the USER. An IP address is a number automatically assigned to a computer when it connects to the Internet. All this information is recorded in a duly registered server activity log, which allows the subsequent processing of the data for statistical purposes only — such as determining the number of page impressions, visits to web services, the order of visits, points of access, etc.
6. Transfer of Data to Third Parties
GIOSEPPO is absolutely opposed to the practice of spamming and never engages in such conduct. GIOSEPPO only sends information to the email addresses provided by those who have registered as USERS on the GIOSEPPO website and, therefore, have accepted the General Terms and Conditions and its data protection policy for the sending of such information, or, where applicable, to those individuals who, after a prior telephone contact, have authorized the sending of these emails.
GIOSEPPO will also not permit the use of such practices by USERS and will withdraw any services contracted with GIOSEPPO if such behavior occurs, reserving the right to take any legal action deemed appropriate.
GIOSEPPO may, where applicable, transfer personal data to third parties. When this occurs, USERS will be duly informed in the personal data collection forms, along with the identification of both the transferring company and the third party, the type of activities in which it is engaged, and the purpose of the data transfer.
The USER may object at any time to any or all of the aforementioned transfers by exercising their rights as detailed below.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties without prior notice to you and in compliance with current data protection laws. All members of our Group value the privacy and protection of your personal information and apply similar privacy policies.
Your data may be transferred to partners who host websites and to third parties who assist us in designing and operating the website, performing services, or analyzing collected data — always in compliance with this privacy policy.
These third parties will only use the data for the specific purpose indicated and will be required to maintain the confidentiality of the information. Outside of these cases, we will only disclose your data when required by law.
8. Compliance with this Personal Data Privacy Policy
If the USER has any questions regarding this Personal Data Privacy Policy, they need only contact GIOSEPPO.
9. Modification of this Personal Data Privacy Policy
GIOSEPPO reserves the right to modify this Personal Data Privacy Policy in order to adapt it to new legislative or judicial developments. In such cases, GIOSEPPO will announce on this website the changes introduced, providing reasonable notice prior to their implementation.
10. Contact Information
GIOSEPPO invites USERS to send their comments regarding this Personal Data Privacy Policy. If the USER believes that GIOSEPPO is not complying with this Personal Data Privacy Policy, they should contact GIOSEPPO by postal mail, email, or telephone.
11. Links
To enhance the performance of our website, we may include links to third-party sites to which this privacy policy does not apply and which are beyond our control. These third-party sites must have their own independent privacy policies. Although we strive to maintain the integrity of our site, GIOSEPPO cannot be held responsible or liable for the content and activities of such external sites.
Your visit or access to these sites is therefore at your own responsibility. It is strictly prohibited to establish a link or send any content by email from any URL to the GIOSEPPO website.
