The handcrafted pieces of the Women4Change by Gioseppo Collection have been made by the NGO Ocean Sole Africa from the more than 50,000 kg of flip-flops that
wash up every year onto the shores of the Kenyan coast.
All proceeds will be donated to the educational project that Gioseppo's Esperanza Pertusa Foundation
is developing in Kenya through the Youth for Technology Foundation so that girls from deprived backgrounds can receive training in technology skills to be prepared
for the 21st century jobs.
By buying these products we contribute to protecting the marine ecosystem, generating employment
in low-income communities, and empowering African girls.
